4.0 out of 5 stars good for english study, February 14, 2001

For explaining the discussion about sign and symbols the writer use easier words and sentences. That is most important for us, foreigners. Signs snd symbols themselves are interesting. So we can continue reading. And the easy sentenced help us. Many high-school students who do not speak english may read this book without dictionary. I think this is useful for english reading text.
