"Signs and Symbols of the Second Coming" is a very important piece of work to me. It deals in depth with two subjects that have fascinated me most of my adult life, the prophecies of the Bible and what is called in modern times the UFO phenomenon, both of which span the centuries and cannot be limited by our mere mortal understanding of time and space.

I did a series of interviews for the book in which I spoke to various experts in the field of Biblical and UFO studies, including Gary Stearman, of the "Prophecy In The News" ministry based in Oklahoma City. Stearman firmly believes that the establishment of national Israel as a state in 1948 is the first crucial link in a chain of fulfillment that will eventually lead to the return of Jesus in a UFO. Stearman explains in the book that whenever Israel is under severe threat from her enemies, a new UFO flap will come along in her skies to let her know she is still being watched over.

I also spoke to Dr. Brenda Denzler, whose Ph.D. in Religious Studies is from Duke University. She tended to reject the idea that the Second Coming will be an actual future historical event. Denzler said it will more likely come so gradually that we won't even realize it is happening, like a thief in the night, as Christ himself prophesied in the Gospel.

Ordained minister Dr. Barry Downing spoke along similar lines, though he is quite adamant that UFOs are the vehicles of both Christ and the angels. However, he argued that God may not be in such a hurry to disturb the status quo on Earth, which took Him millions of years to establish.

There are also interesting takes on the subject from Brad and Sherry Hansen Steiger, G.C. Schellhorn, and Dr. Frank Stranges, all of whom offer diverse and interesting opinions on the prophecies and UFOs. The many points of agreement and disagreement combine to form a level-headed but nonetheless heady mix of truth and speculation. Dr. Stranges even goes so far as to name the person he believes will be the dreaded antichrist, but I'll leave that for the reader to sort out for himself.

Included in the package is an audio CD of my editor and publisher Timothy Green Beckley interviewing me about the book, and Tim couldn't resist tacking one of my original songs on to the end of it. So one gets more than just an interesting book.

I have another book listed with Amazon called "UFOs, Prophecy and the End of Time," and that might be worth a look as well. Plus I've done a couple of books on Nikola Tesla, if that's your thing, and have contributed chapters to other books on UFOs and religion.
