My dear mother-in-law gave me this for Christmas, as a little bird told her I'd been slavering over one. I used it for the first time today to make piecrust, and it exceeded my high expectations. This is an incredible improvement over my old wooden rolling pin; the counterbalancing and bearings make it roll so smoothly. Rolling out the piecrust was a breeze--I was actually sorry that I was only doing two pies, because I was having such a great time with it. Cleanup is easy, too. Just use a warm cloth and you're done! I'm going to buy another to give to a friend for her birthday.

This is the absolute best rolling pin EVER! My husband bought it for me for Christmas, and I LOVE it! I snapped my marble rolling pin's wooden handles making pie for Thanksgiving, and this one far surpasses the old one. It rolls on ball bearings, so it is incredibly smooth. It is expensive, but if you like to bake, this is an must have.
