5.0 out of 5 stars Possessing all the beauty!, September 28, 2003

One of the best songs Delerium has ever made. No wonder- it's co-written with Sarah McLachlan. I'm a big Sarah fan, adoring her with all of her albums -from Touch, Solace.. to Mirrorball-, so that she was on the vocals was almostly enough for me to buy this CD single. I really like the Airscape and Dj Tiesto Mixes of Silence. The original version of it is also perfect with its modern semi-gothic sound; that strange, dark and mysterious feeling its music enters into your imagination with and Sarah's extremely melodious & angelic voice, of course, which makes that song "Silence". So I believe that this single and the whole Karma album of Delerium deserve it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A real good taste of the better euro trance sound, January 6, 2001
This review is from: Silence (Audio CD)
DJ Tiësto's best remix he has done so far! Tiësto's mix is concidered one of the biggest tracks of 2000 here in Holland. Personally I don't like the Airscape mix as much, but this single is definitely worth it, even just for Tiësto's remix. It's a 10 minute trance trip which leads to an enormous euphoric climax! Get it!

4.0 out of 5 stars good karma, October 28, 2000

When tis song was released in 1997 by delerium, it was overshadowed by Sarah's own Surfacing release. But Sarah also lends her ethereal voice to tis decidedly different tune. Co-written by Delerium and Sarah herself, the album version starts off with an ancient chant before Sarah breaks into her melodius self. The remixes here sound European since these 2000 reworks were meant for the market and has so far done well in the UK and several EU territories. Highly recommended is the lush remix by DJ Tiesto, almost comparable to the BT mix of I Love You.
