The "Silence E.P." marks an important time in D'Agostino's career. Gigi D'Agostino has not released a new album since his "L'Amour Toujours" CD which mainly relied on the hit "L'Amour Toujours (I'll Fly With You)". That album was released in 2001. From 2001 to 2003, Gigi switched roles and produced two compilation CDs, "Il Grande Viaggio" in 2002 and "Il Programmino" in 2003. Both this CDs featured Gigi songs but something was gone. Now, finally, "Silence" brings back the real Gigi, better than ever.

I must say that this is one of the best electronica albums I've heard in a long time. Each song is amazing in it's own way, never sounding similar to another or getting boring. Although "Silence", "Complex", "Sonata", and "Apache" are my favorites, the entire CD is a masterpiece.

It's great to hear Gigi back in action and I hope to hear more in the future. I highly recommend this CD.

This is a cool cd, I think Gigi D'Agostino is a really awesome music artist. I think L'Amour Toujours 1 and 2 are a lot better, but this one is worth keeping on the market, in the house, or in the car! I wish the USA would put out more of his music than "I'll fly with you." GEEZ. If they put more of his music out, he would be more popular here. Buy used if you arent sure!

I don't even remember how I stumbled across Gigi.. sometime in sophomore year of high school, it was. But this man is genius. He's amazing. If you love the whole techno/electronica scene, you will not be disappointed with him. Even if you don't know if you're that type... I don't go to clubs, and I typically like NIN and the like, but ... you just can't help but love this man's music :) Very quality ;) Very bouncy. Just let it infect you, it feels /so/ good ;)

The first three songs on this EP, Silence, Complex, and Sonata are good enough to buy this cd alone. They are 6 - 9 minutes long and build into incredibly beautiful songs. Apache is a good remix, if you liked the original, Pop Corn is also a fun remix, but the title track and track 8 which should be labeled Silence (vision 3) builds off the beginning track's melody effortlessly. Half the EP is superb, and judging by the standards based on music that has been released these days, that is excellent.

This album is classic Gigi. Many of his compliations (Il Grande Viaggio, Techno Fes 1 & 2, Journey, Il Programmino), though good for what they are, were somewhat of a disappointment because most of the tracks lacked the D'agostino sound. Not so on this album, which harkens back to the double-CD version of L'Amour Toujours. The first three tracks are particularly fantastic, but the whole album is really a joy to listen to.
Highly recommended.

This guy is incredible, he has blown me away before and does not cease to do so. every beat is calculated to pick at your emotions.

Who knows why it's called Silence cuz it's anything but. Turn it up! Instant party. Good stuff. Put it in your shopping cart, you will not be disappointed. If you love GiGi, you'll love this. Mmm yeh, boyHowdy!

Gigi siempre se ha mantenido ocupado........... antes de que Silence saliera a la venta ya circulaban los Ineditos.... y no hay que olvidar Il Programmino....... de hecho tampoco hay que olvidar Live At Altromondo Parte 1.........osea que Gigi nunca estuvo del todo desaparecido......... definitivamente desde la salida de Il Programmino se venia una avalancha de producciones y Silence EP es una de las mejores.........
