The whole series is Excellent! This one in particular, and all of the bad people experience their comeuppance, in a satisfying way. Read morePublished 11 days ago by Clyde Revilee
S is for jumping the Shark. I'd enjoyed the previous titles in the series tremendously, but Grafton lost me when she introduced the awkward third-person narrative. Read morePublished 18 days ago by Tom Howe
The flashbacks were so long and drawn out that eventually I stopped reading them. Grafton never explained the *motive* for the crime, only *who* did it. Read morePublished 20 days ago by D. Plass
The book is great. I enjoy all of Sue Grafton's work. I have all of the alphabets that have been written and is on the waiting list for "W" due out in August.Published 28 days ago by Gloria Greenidge

Another good read from Sue Grafton. The mystery in this story is not easy to figure. Really kept me turning pages.Published 1 month ago by Lynn Pena

|Welcome to the S is for Silence forum||
I liked this entry in the series but I do think that the motive was not clear and it felt like Padgett was a last minute winner of the "who is the killer" contest ! I also wanted Kathy to get a bigger come uppance than just to lose some of her cushy lifestyle - she was a pain at 14 and... Read More

|Why such sloppy research?||
I agree about the wand versus cake mascara issue, but I'm not so sure about the wine drinking. In California you can get two kinds of alcohol licenses: a beer and wine license (you had to also serve food to get this type, which the Full Moon did) or a full liquor license. I'm not sure how long... Read More

|Favorite Kinsey mystery||
I don't know if I have a favorite I just have favorite bits of each - Since I drive alot I usually listen to the Judy Kaye audio unabridged editions and I love any of the parts that she reads that involve Henry and his sibs - I also find that I like the ones where Kinsey has to stay in... Read More
