About the Author

Audrey Howard was born in Liverpool in 1929. Before she began to write she had a variety of jobs, among them hairdresser, model, shop assistant, cleaner and civil servant. In 1981 she wrote the first of her novels when she was out of work and living in Australia. There are now more than twenty, and her fourth, The Juniper Bush, won the Boots Romantic Novel of the Year Award in 1988. She now divides her time between her childhood home, St Anne's on Sea, Lancashire, and a home in the Yorkshire Dales. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

its a wonderful book. though it was confusing how a maan can love two woman at the same time. but i think the author handled the matter very convincingly.

The heroine of the book is someone you only want to be in your dream. she is strong, determined and a beutiful woman both inside and outside. though the matter that the hero was responsible for her father's death after all the things he (the father) had done for him was not easy to digest.

at the end the way the hero won her over was something very special.
