The latest adventure for Nick Stone is as exciting as any from Andy McNab. I have been a fan for years, and following the exploits of the innocuous, but resourceful Stone character. Andy has left us all in the air now, where will he take us and will Stone ever find any peace.

AndyMcNab's book's are always well written with a great emphasis on present day threats, in the political, military and everyday events. Especially enjoy the Nick Stone series. Look forward to his next book

The first book I read in the "Stone" series, was wonderfully spiced with inside knowledge, and I thought that was what cought me. Now I know better; the details do the trick all right, keeping the action believeable, but what's really wonderful is the way mr. McNab peppers the language with funny remarks about daily items and concepts, that gets me laughing out loud at times.
Mr. McNab truly has the command of the language, and is probably as great a writer, that he was a soldier.

Not the best mcNab - always enjoy reading about Nick Stone's exploits, but this one feels a bit "tired" and somewhat recycling some old stuff.
Overall, not the finest mcNab: if this is your first foray, pick one of the earlier Nick Stone books - they are superb page-turners and really enjoyable thrillers.

This one is not bad, in fact, he's still one of the finest thriller writers around - but, exactly because of that, one comes to expect superior stuff from someone THAT talented!
