There are five tracks totalling 26 minutes of music. Of these five tracks, three are featured in the original Buena Vista Social Club discs. Effectively therefore, only two tracks, playing for less than eleven minutes altogether, are new. [Such a price] for eleven minutes is truly outrageous....

The reviewer below obviously is thinking of this disc in quantity terms, not QUALITY terms. The disc is made in Japan in limited quantities, which is the major reason for its higher price. It more for collectors than the average listener. That being said, the music is spectacular, enthralling, and uplifting. One can easily find themselves humming any song here for days at a time.

The sound quality of the disc is far superior to American made CDs - not too "bright" and with a sound separation that will make you want to play this on your home system, not your iPod or in your car.

For the scarcity and sound quality, this disc IS worth the extra money.
