A Daughter's Love...,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Silent Attic: A Short Story (Kindle Edition)
This is a very powerful story of how much a daughter loves and takes care of her dying mother. She tells about how she had to care for her mother in the attic bedroom of the family's house until the mother passed away. This story is a prequel of sorts to the story "A Dreamlike State." Fans of Brian James Freeman will appreciate this story, and will hopefully arrive it in some way, as it is the only story not included in his "Seven Stories" collection, also available at Amazon. Please take the time to read this story, as well as his novel "A Painted Darkness," also available through Kindle and through Cemetery Dance Publications.

The sample did not include any part of the story, so I had to buy. I didn't mind not getting a preview first, as I've read and liked his other works. It's a short story about a boy's last moment with his mother. Any more than that, I feel I'd be giving away too much. |
