A great action/adventure novel,

I read Silent Descent a few years ago, but I remember it prefectly. It was the first novel I ever read by Couch and I found it to be thoroughly enjoyable. Couch has a knack for making you care about the characters in his books which makes the books all the more exciting and suspensefull. If you read this book you have to read Rising Wind which is the sequel. These two books are incredible, and just plain good books that are fun to read, as are all of his books.

I don't usually keep paperbacks. But I've bought and read everything Dick Couch has written. This is one of his best fictions. If you like this, you'll love "Seal Team One". If you like that try "The Warior Elite" where he follows Seal Team Class 228 through their training (Marcus Luttrell's class). I love all of his stuff.
