Silent Echoes (Bil Holton),

I loved it! The plot is definitely a timely issue in today's society and would make an excellent made-for-tv movie. The author is very descriptive in his writing making thbe reader always feel part of the action. The characters are well-defined and have "character" and personalities that can be pick up easily from the written page. I have passed this book on to friends who have come to the same conclusion. I personally found it hard to put the book down once I got started (not an avid reader). It was easy to read both from a time standpoint and easy on the eyes (better grade paper and larger type than most). I highly recommend it, but would refer it only to adults because of its subject. However, older teens could read and understand it easily, and parents should not be worried about language and sexual overtones (something almost unheard of today). Pick it up and READ it.

Silent but Powerful Echoes,
By Sarah Starr (Upper Arlington, OH USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Silent Echoes (Paperback)
I started reading this book on a two hour flight to Wisconsin. I quit reading long enough to get to my hotel room and then didn't put it down and go to bed until way after midnight when I actually finished the book! It has lots of surprise twists and doesn't really end up where you'd think. Bil packs several different story lines into one incredibly well written book. I hope he writes another one soon!
