About the Author
John Kirvan has devoted much energy addressing the spiritual needs of ordinary folks. He has written a dozen books on the mystics in the series 30 Days With a Great Spiritual Teacher (Ave Maria Press). His books, God Hunger (SORIN BOOKS, 1999) and Raw Faith (SORIN BOOKS, 2000), both companion volumes to Silent Hope, combine the best of Christian, Jewish and Islamic traditions to explore the lives and writings of the great mystics. Kirvan lives in Southern California.
