5.0 out of 5 stars Heard the author on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory...
...this is one of the best books I've read this year. Gulbransen was on C2C back on Aug.1 and I ordered the book two weeks ago when I got paid. This is a very important book and very ahead of its time. I can't believe in the middle of the war on terror people don't look at what's happening on our border. None of the presidential candidates discuss the issue at all...

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T waste your money; No evidence to support his claims!
Do not waste your money on this "book." The author claims the USA is being infiltrated by Chinese military, but he offers NO EVIDENCE OR PROOF for these claims. Give me a break! Better yet, give yourself a break! Its too late for me; I already bought this lousy book! However, its not too late for you. DO NOT buy this book, it is utter nonsense, without...

This book does an excellent job of laying out what is happening down in Mexico and how terrorists can cross into the US anytime they want. I thought we had borders for a reason!

I highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Revised edition reads much better!! Good Page Turner!, April 10, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Silent Invasion (Paperback)
I read the first edition, and while this isn't significantly different, the design and edit on the second go 'round are much more solid.

This book is scary. You'll enjoy it and can finish it in just a couple of hours. The author's writing style is very fast-paced.

5.0 out of 5 stars How can u not believe this? New World Order's final stage, April 26, 2005

Vlad B. (Brooklyn, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Silent Invasion (Paperback)
This book is about the silent invasion from the South by......................well by anyone who wishes to come here. Writer talks about bullet casings being found in the desert with Chinese insignias on it, sea port in Mexico that is owned by Chinese military and our wide open South border where trucks pass by daily w/o any inspections. He says many of them carry loads of weaponry, ammo, soldiers (????). He talked with one border patrol agent, who was later shall we say "suicided".

Great book, disregard any of the typos and such, there is no time to nitpick.

Have any of you ever heard of Jesuits? New World Order? Masons?

If you did, then you would know that yes it is true. Yes, they want U.S. to be destroyed. And they'll go to any measures and costs to achieve it.

Our border patrol is nonexistent. We got brave Minutemen for god's sake who watch the border. What do u expect?

I am sad to see so many people today being so blind. It really hurts me. And when you tell them that something like this can happen they'll just laugh at you.

Many are destined to reason wrongly, others, not to reason at all; and others, to persecute those who do reason. - Voltaire

5.0 out of 5 stars Time to learn Chinese!!, March 27, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Silent Invasion (Paperback)
WOW! That's the best word to describe this book. Being the avid conspiracy theorist that I am, this book was really up my alley. Gulbransen has everything locked down here leading us into a history lesson of Mexico's loss of California to a harrowing visit to a guerrilla training camp near Tijuana.

I found the author's desire to keep his personal beliefs out of the equation somewhat unusual because you do get the sense he buys into the conspiracy.

It's a fun read that is written well and I hope we see another book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Important Information, July 18, 2003

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Silent Invasion (Paperback)
One should know, that the information in this book is sparse, but very important. The subject deserves a more extensive book and deeper research still. Scott deserves great praise for his risks and courage in writing this book.

The purchaser should know that the book is only about 210 pp. of information in double spaced format, with a need for a little more editing done to the text. You're buying the important information here -- information you'll not likely find elsewhere.

4.0 out of 5 stars Scary, plausible and well written, July 1, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Silent Invasion (Paperback)
The book was well written and I like the author's down-to-earth style. The stories are well documented but I'd still like more proof. Although more proof would support the author's conentions, it's also the the proof that would blow the lid off the whole idea. I don't blame him for not being able to bring more forward. I think his life would be in danger.

Many will not believe this and dismiss the author as a "nut." I don't, even though I don't believe it all. It's plain and simple a good book to read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book that would be a fantastic Movie!, December 3, 2003
This review is from: The Silent Invasion (Paperback)
Book is a fun read. Not too long and comes off like non-fiction but I don't buy it. I agree with the review on here that it is likely fiction and the joke is on those who believe it to be fact.

Writing is good and speeds along well. Editing is not great but good enough. At $13 you can't go wrong.

I know this is listed as non-fiction but I truly believe the author has done a brilliant job at marketing here. It's fiction and the joke is on those who believe it isn't.

Gulbransen's writing is actually quite good. The editing is second rate but his style is easy to read and makes the book flow well. The characters and dialogue are rich and it's fun to read from chapter to chapter.

Someone should get this author a good publisher and make him into the excellent writer he could be.
