The Silent Killer, Indoor Air Pollution, June 13, 2000
This review is from: The Silent Killer: Indoor Air Pollution (Paperback)
Pete Billac is an engaging author mixing humor, wit, and and easy reading style to convey information about the number one health concern for all of us-indoor air pollution. The author has provided a clear picture of one of the scariest health concerns in the modern world today. He tells how our homes and our offices have become the havens for molds (some toxic and lethal), bacteria, chemical contamination, and how our heating and cooling systems spread these contaminants through our homes and offices. These indoor pollutants can lead to asthma and many other lung disorders as well as some very serious other diseases. This is a book that will open your eyes WIDE to the dangers that lurk in your home and at the office you may work. But Pete discovered a solution to clean up his environment and he shares it with all of us in this book. The text is easy to understand and throughly researched for technical accuracy without the technical stuffiness. Get this book! It may change your life.

I was getting home sick........., February 8, 2002
This review is from: The Silent Killer: Indoor Air Pollution (Paperback)
For the longest time, I was congested and having serious migrane headaches. I couldn't figure out why I was sick all the time. I did not know why my body said "NO!", everytime my mind said let's do something. I spent 10 years locked in a prison, because I did not know my house was trying to kill me. Everyday I would work from my computer in my office and get all the junk in the HVAC(heating ventilation and air conditioning)units at work was making me sick. I later learned through this book, it has the same effect as taking a plane trip and having all the sickness blow on you through the air vents. Let me say that has all changed after reading this book! The first thing I did was purchase an Alpine Air Purifier and 100 copies of this book. I have no more migranes, the mold, mildew, pet dander, cigerette smoke and other toxins have been cleaned from my house. This book along with a Thunderstorm in a box can change your life from darkness to light. I now tour the United States and promote this book and the technology that can exterminate the silent killer! The EPA rates indoor air pollution among it's 10 most wanted!
