Yes he speeds up the song just enough where I actually like It better than so slow and drawn out.
Can't weigh In on all the good Christmas songs Amazon Is letting us choose from. But I like this guys voice and could hear more.

I could picture this being sung around a campfire. Pleasant (primarily) singular voice accompanied by guitar and violin (and some other strings, maybe cello) with a little folk/country styling. It is a nice rendition of the classic, sung about 10% faster than I am used to, but as they say, different packages. It has a nice tone and the guitar playing/rhythm keep it from getting too serious/solemn (but still keeps that flavor).

This is apparently a medley with "O Come, O Come, Emanuel" which definitely contains the words but not the melody of the original piece. However, it is a nice variation.

Definitely fits well with Christmas "Country" classics as well as a nice change to any Christmas library. You really can't go wrong on this one. This is a welcomed addition to my Christmas library.

In 2009, I went on a search for great, holiday-themed contemporary Christian music. I found Matt Maher and this song blew me away. Silent Night is about as germaine as it gets when you think of Christmas music, but Matt's spin was refreshing.

"Silent Night" turned me on to Matt Maher completely. I am now a very big fan.

A familiar Christmas carol with a moving reminder of what makes the birth so important. Well done!
