Although the work is extremely difficult to find, it is probably /the/ book on the American Film Manufacturing Company. The author researched the book very thoroughly, even interviewing former studio personel. So, if this book was not written when it was (late sixties) and adapted from the author's PhD dissertation, it's likely several bits of history would've been lost.
