"The title reflects what we all have gone through as we've cut ties to situations in our lives that weren't positive." "The pure, raw heaviness that we like to write and that we love to play onstage came out on this record," -Mike Pedicone (drummer)

nothing silent about it,
This review is from: Silent Treatment (Audio CD)
The Bled return with what I think is their most impressive album to date. With producer Brian McTernnan at the helm they have produced a competent, fierce and well put together album. This is better than Found in the Flood and it matches and I think surpasses Pass the flask in intensity. Having heard "Shadetree Mechanics" on their myspace site I knew that they were going to try and put everything on this album and I think they have done a great job. The only breaks from the screams come from the beginning of "Asleep on the front lines" and some spoken parts in various other songs and some great chorus fills like on "Silver Lining". I was hoping that they wouldn't drop the ball on this album and I'm very happy to say that they didn't.

Good, but not PASS THE FLASK good,
By Eric D (Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Silent Treatment (Audio CD)
This distinct, innovative, creative, and insane hardcore band tears fans a new one after claiming they "wussed out" on their last disc (2005's "Found In The Flood"). Their new effort surpasses their previous, but not their 2003 debut "Pass The Flask."

The Bled has finally redeemed themselves since their last CD, Found in the Flood. They're back to their old roots!
