A Silent Fury, September 1, 2009
This review is from: A Silent Fury (High Stakes Trilogy, Book 2) (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense #164) (Mass Market Paperback)
I just got this book yesterday and read it all last night could not put it down, first it is by one of my favorite authors and she lives in my state.
Thsi book is about someone killing a teenage girl and another missing. So an FBI agent flew in to help the local police try to find the girl and solve the crime. So be it that the man was from this area and he had broken up with his love who just happens to be the police chief, so they were put on the case together. Uummmm I wonder if they will get back together?
There was a gang that had started up and it was in the high school and in the deaf and blind school.
The police cheif's house got broken into while she was with her mother that was in a nursing home and she found a cap from the baseball team al lot of them belonged to behind her tv stand, so now they are searching both schools to see who is missing the cap and has red hair.
Quite a mystery and keeps you in suspence the entire book.

Christian Romantic Suspense, August 29, 2011
This review is from: A Silent Fury (High Stakes Trilogy, Book 2) (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense #164) (Mass Market Paperback)
Trouble again surrounds Palmetto deaf School - this time 1 girl is dead & 1 is missing. What's the connection between the girls, Palmetto Deaf School, the baseball team at neighbouring Esterman High, & the spate of gang burglaries that have recently started? That's what FBI Agent Joseph Santino & homicide Detective Catelyn Clark who have been partnered together on this case need to find out - & quickly, because time is running out for missing girl, Kelly Franklin.
That's not all Joseph intends to find out. During their rare & frequently interrupted breathing spaces, he is determined to find out why Catelyn pushed him away 2 years ago, what the cause is of the silent fury building inside her, & whether they can get back together again, because his heart has never been able to let her go.
Although "A Silent Terror" precedes this one, featuring Joseph's sister Marianna & where we first meet Joseph & Catelyn, you don't need to have read it before this one.
