5.0 out of 5 stars Things are not always what they appear to be., September 24, 2005
This review is from: Silhouette [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I know Faye Dunaway was the star in this intense suspense about a murder that took place in a small town. But I think David Rasche stole the show playing the darranged Shariff Louder. He was so awesome in this movie. He's great in any part he plays, He can be funny or serious. And to me that's why this movie was so great and written wonderfully it kept me in suspense all through it I recommend it for anyone who is a fan of David Rasche or just a suspense fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly solid suspense for cable movie, August 9, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Silhouette [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This made-for-cable movie is a cut above most suspense stories of its genre, i.e. it's nothing particularly special, but it is better than most things you'd tune in during the afternoon. Miss Dunaway plays a wealthy traveler whose Mercedes breaks down in a small town, so she must stay a few days at the local motel. There, she witnesses what could be a murder in the window of a nearby building. Miss Dunaway gets involved, and then the killer goes after her. It's fairly routine, but nonetheless exciting and suspenseful at times. It does not drag or have unbelievable plot twists. I wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to see it, but if it comes on T.V. or you see it at the video store, give it a try. For fans of Miss Dunaway, it's a cut above some of the other material she made during this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muder In A Peaceful Country Town!!!!, June 1, 2005
This review is from: Silhouette [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In this movie we see Faye Dunaway playing a successful architect by the name of Sam (Samantha )Kimball. While on the road driving home Sam has a car accident and is forced to wait repair of her vehicle in a Hotel in the small town of Hazelton. Sam then witnesses the murder of a local girl but is unable to identify the killer because she has only seen his silhouette, hence the title of this movie. Ms. Dunaway is strongly supported in this movie by John Terry who plays the town Deputy. This is a very good movie set in a small country town where secrets have a way of coming to light.
