I bought four of these Silicon Power Elite 32GB micro SDHC Class 10 UHS-1 flash memory cards for my four Samsung Galaxy S4 phones. Two of the four SD memories died in just a month and a half causing us to loose many of our photos stored on the SD memory card. I am replacing all these SD memory cards with Transcend SD memory cards. My recommendation, Don't waist your money on these Silicon Power Elite SD memory cards.

Bought mine last November--I used it in my Galaxy note 2. Then one day the phone started reporting that the card was removed, then eventually the phone and PC wouldn't recognize the card at all. Their warranty process requires that you send the defective card registered international mail to Taiwan!

There seems to be a chronic problem with the Silicon Power 32GB cards; look at the long list of failures shortly after purchase from Newegg reviewers: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820301040

Spend the extra five bucks and get the name brand.

We use these at work in a repair center for tablets. Actually, we've used different brands, but the Silicon Power 16gb, specifically, has failed us numerous times. We use micro SD cards to load Android updates and ROMs, and we do this all day long, so admittedly, the cards get a lot of in-and-out from card slot to card slot. Nevertheless, cards from other companies don't fail like these. They will come up unrecognized completely or be recognized and blank but can't be formatted.

If you want this for casual use, fine, but I wouldn't trust it for single copies of anything, and I wouldn't plan on using it rigorously.

I bought 2 of these to put in my MS Pro Duo Adapter for my PSP and the read/write speeds are slightly better than the Pro Duo stick that came with my PSP. Unfortunately, I don't have any devices that can utilize UHS, yet I still tested the cards with CrystalDiskMark before placing them into the adapter.

Read: 20.13 MB/s
Write: 12.43 MB/s

All in all, it's a great card even if your device doesn't support UHS. Expect great quality for a fair price.

UPDATE (03/25/2014):
It's a year later, and the cards are still working good as new. There seems to be quite a bit of negative reviews since. Maybe I got lucky with non-defective cards, or maybe lots of brand name fanboys are upset. I cannot answer that, it's for you to decide. I bought these cards at $10.99 a piece. For the current price ($14.99), I would suggest possibly going with SanDisk Ultra, Kingston, Sony, Samsung, etc. as they are cheaper and the risk of failure appears less probable.

Ordered two of these to store music/videos for use on my tablet. Both would unexpectedly "drop" files and produce other I/O errors, and I was never completely able to even copy all of my videos onto either card. Fortunately nothing on them was irreplaceable, because I was not even able to complete copying the material I already had onto them. I am sending them back to Amazon and ordering some SanDisk cards instead. You don't get what you don't pay for.

This card was the worst card that I have ever purchased in my life. It stopped working less than 24 hours after I received it. I tried contacting the vendor Lumu three times for a return with no luck. Even the packaging it came in was shabby.

DO NOT BE STUPID LIKE ME AND BUY CHEAP. IT AIN'T WORTH IT.

I bought two of these because they were really cheap, and they claim to be Class 10 UHS-1 devices.

I ran H2testw on the cards and got a writing speed of 10.4MB/s, and a reading speed of 16.9MB/s. I'm happy with the speeds I'm getting.

The only issue I've had with the card is that it didn't work in my phone (Galaxy S Relay). It would read, but wouldn't allow writes. Admittedly this might be my phone, as the card worked just fine in my other phone (Galaxy Note). However, a SanDisk 8GB card and a SanDisk 32GB card worked fine in the Relay, so I don't know for sure if it's the phone or card.

So now I use one of the cards in my Raspberry Pi, and the other in my Galaxy Note with no issues. I'd say if you're going to use this for a phone, maybe be wary, but otherwise the SD card works great.

I thought everything was good with it until I was on vacation at Disney World and lost all my pictures.
I don't know what happened but after I took all the pictures, later on that night when I went though and viewed them again every single picture and video ended up being corrupt. I was so mad. I'v been busy lately and haven't gotten a chance to reformat it or anything. But as soon as I do that I will update.
