I actually used these ice cube trays/bakeware to make crayons for my son's birthday party. They worked so well, I continue to use them for all my son's broken down crayons. You can either stick them in the microwave or stick them in the oven and they work wonders! Then put them in the fridge to cool and peel them out carefully. I would definitely buy again.

Fun to use. Not as hard to get letters out as some other posters suggest however I've only made ice cubes with them so far.

Update: Gelatin in these molds is very difficult to remove. They might work better if sprayed with cooking spray first or Knox is used to make them extra firm.

Purchased for my daughter's alphabet baby shower. We used the trays for ice cubes and they were adorable. Many folks commented on our attention to detail! It really took no time at all, I filled the ice trays repeatedly while I was cooking and before bed. I left the trays with my daughter for her to use, she's a reading teacher so I'm sure she'll find many uses for them, ie: fudge, ice, butter, soap...etc.

The Silicone Alphabet tray set works great!
We used the tray set to make crayons for Christmas gifts.
The kids loved the crayons!
We received the tray set within a few days after it was ordered.

I really love this. I have seen on many crafy blogs, how people have used these to make their own special crayons. It is so super easy and so cute that i am sending sets to all the kids i know under 5!!

I have used these mold to make crayons and bath "bubblers"! They could also be used for ice, etc. It may be hard to get cakes and other baked goods to look right in these as it can be a little difficult to get the letters out. All in all I am happy with the molds for my use.

I use this to make molded crayons. I have put the trays in the microwave many times and has held up great. Great shapes and quality.

They are okay. Not as durable a they could be. I would recommend purchasing more than one set if you are going to use them on a regular basis.

We have noticed that these are a little hard to bake with, depending on what you are making. We were making gluten-free products similar to corn muffins that were a little hard to remove from the mold. When you look at the picture, I am sure you can imagine what would happen if your mixture stuck to the side.

The problem can be solved by adding some extra non-stick spray, and by using a mix that comes out more dense.

These are awesome cube trays. I used them for an ice sculpture and they worked out great. They meltedd faster than I expected( it was 91 degrees outside) but that was to be expected. No complaints here for what I needed them for. Very flexible, easy to fill but do not stack to freeze unless you dont care about the bottom tray line messing up the letters.
