Silicone Skin for Iriver E100 8 Gb 4 Gb Multimedia Player + Armband + Removable Beltclip + Screen Protector Kit (6 Color Available)

I like the product because it protects my iRiver e100. The silicone skin fits a little awkwardly and I find it annoying to lock/unlock the player. I haven't had much issue using the D-pad with the skin, nor does the skin interfere with volume, usb or the memory card slot. I have not grown accustomed to using the armband so I leave the player in my pocket when I'm working out. I haven't used the belt clip yet.

I recently bought an iriver E100 media player but it's missing one important accessory in the box: A case. No digital media player (DMP) should be carried without a case to protect it with, especially when the price on the DMP can cross the $100 barrier so easily.

The Silicone Skin is a perfect case for the job. It matches the color of the player beautifully, unless you have a strong dislike for a matte black case. While no instructions came with the skin it's really easy to figure out how it's applied, and every control surface is marked for ease of use for those who haven't had their E100 for long yet. Even the reset hole is not just available but easy to find, a boon for E100 users who find that one of their media files doesn't follow the specifications properly for some reason.

The Screen Protector Kit is incredibly easy to use as well, with directions in English as well as what I'm going to guess is Japanese. You will need to cut it down since it's not a product specifically made for the E100, but any good pair of scissors will handle that job with honors for you. Just be REALLY careful how you apply it. I inadvertently put mine on at a slight angle so I'll have to replace it one day, but that's a user error, not a product error.

The only item in this set that kept it from getting a five-star rating is the beltclip. There's absolutely no instructions for installing it and it took me a little trial and error to get it done. In addition the clip doesn't always screw on securely, as I found out the hard way when it fell off while I road the local subway the weekend after I got the clip. Luckily I was able to retrieve it and for some reason it's on there a lot more securely. I can't say much about the armband because I simply don't use it much myself, although it's another item with no installation/use instructions so you'd be better off if you're not trying to put your player on it if you're in a hurry. At least not for the first couple of times, at least.

All in all, if you get an iriver E100 media player you should definitely get this accessory set. Not only is it a great way to protect your investment in your E100 but it's also at an amazingly nice price. While you can get a similar set from a few different vendors I wholeheartedly recommend getting it from Bestpricecenter. The price is great, and their shipping was faster than I expected it to be. They even provide you with tracking numbers so you can follow your package across the country, although USPS doesn't provide much info with standard shipping. That's the Postal Service's fault, not Bestpricecenter, and if you want to have tracking 100% percent of the time from when it leaves Bestpricecenter to when it arrives on your doorstep you just have to spend a little more for a different shipping method.

Arrived on time fits perfectly only con is no screen protection. And lack of of other choices.

I like things that last, has great workmanship and makes my unit look good, this does the job and does it well, however, the plastic belt clip is way to flimsy, broke after one week of constant use.

I have now bought 3 of these all of which have severed their purpose well. When buying them I was simply looking for something that would help protect my player from everyday use. The plastic screen protector is very nice although a pain to put on, but once you get it on it does it's job well. All 3 that I have bought have been excellent replicas of the iriver E100.

Only bad things are the cover (Skin) will pick up dirt, more so hair, because it is silicone and it has that nature. The belt clip and arm band are not the most durable. Very clever on the design though as most silicone covers (Skins) don't have arm bands or belt clips. And there is basically no instructions to put it together, but it is easy enough to figure out.

Overall I like it and it does what I want it to do, protect my mp3 player. I highly recommend getting one to protect your player. Also for $10 you really can't go wrong.

This item did not meet my expectations. The sleeve was 85% accurate to the device, volume buttons were not expose properly the headphone's jack was not expose properly having to adjust every time I hooked my headphones

the main controler (the up and down left and right)was not protected very well. In short, this skin is not made for the Iriver E100
