This is a must have for the WD Passport. It fit's like a glove. This will keep my 500GB Hard Drive in mint condition. Exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend getting this.

I purchased the WD 500 GB USB hard-drive (Western Digital My Passport Essential 500 GB USB Portable Drive WDME5000TN (Midnight Black), and was looking for a durable skin - WITHOUT the bulk!

No need to look further - this is an essential (low cost) addition to the drive! Fits like a glove with NO excess play, is flexible and durable rubber-like material, and has no extra weight or bulk.

I can't imagine NOT including this this protective sleeve with EVERY WD purchase.

ESSENTIAL PURCHASE for protecting years worth of data on my 500 GB drive!

Wow, this little skin is a gem! Fits perfectly, and was easy to put on, stays put and looks great. Any more WD Passport drives I buy will definitely get one of these skins. The raised ridges give the whole drive even more protection, as well as give an excellent grip when picking the drive up. I bought the "clear," which actually has a slight milky look. My black drive looks better now with my pearl netbook <lol> Well worth the small cost of protection.
