I have no issue with the silicone sleeve. It is pretty basic and was delivered promptly. The cost of the sleeve was almost doubled by the cost of shipping. i think this product could have been shipped for cheaper rate.

it is loose and too long for the WE Passport essential

you are better off buying a legit one from another source, not this chinese ripoff

This sleeve is too long for the "WD My Passport Essential SE" 1TB, as I suspected, rather it is compatible with the WD My Passport Essential, which is somewhat longer in dimension. I looked around for a sleeve for the "SE" and have not found one yet, took a chance on this one, to no avail.
