I bought this as a replacement for the original Wii MotionPlus Sleeve that came with the module. My 3-year old son was unable to understand the complicated method for removing the OEM sleeve and tore it. I was quite relieved upon receiving this aftermarket sleeve that it is installed and removed from the bottom rather then disconnecting the module and removing the remote from the middle of the sleeve. This should save me from having to buy another one and is the reason for a slightly higher than average rating.

It is made out of the same clear silicone (not silicon as the product title states - ???) as the OEM sleeve but it is MUCH thinner. It feels a little cheap and will probably do less to protect the remote when dropped. It is also smooth without all of the ridges that the OEM has to help with grip so there's a greater risk of dropping it. Only time will tell if this thinner silicone will stand up to two young boys so for now I am mixed on whether it's a good purchase or not.

The simple fact is while this sleeve has it's advantages (being able to 'slide' the wiimote from the bottom up as opposed to the tugging and pulling of a Nintendo brand sleeve), the official Nintendo brand sleeves that Nintendo sells directly are cheaper, sturdier, and don't feel all latex-ey (and that's the last thing I want something shaped like the Wii remotes to feel like). Not recommended but not completely useless either I guess; though there is no reason to buy this because as stated, official sleeves are actually cheaper than this knock-off, and that includes shipping. BLAH.

Heading advertised Silicon Sleeve for Wii Remote "with" Motion Plus - Clear. The sleeve is a knock off version of the Wii sleeve and there is NO Motion Plus with this product. Heading and Product description should state specifically that there is No Motion Plus with this product.

This is a product doesn't have the shape that Wii makes for it's controllers I would not buy this again. It will fit the controller but does not have it's shape.

Tried upgrading two of my original controllers to motion plus for cheaper. It works...nothing wrong with the product...its just...cheaper. It doesn't protect the front of the controller like the manufacturer cover and it makes your remote look like a turd. Basically you won't save very much money buying the motionplus attachment and this sleeve...or at least not enough to make it worth it. Get the original.

It clearly says that this is the Wii remote with motion plus in clear. What I received was a silicon sleeve no motion plus adapter. I returned it immediately.

the sleeve fits the Wii controller perfectly. it gives good grip to the controller. easy to put on but need to be careful around the "corners" of the sleeve just above the Motion Plus unit because it is vulnerable to tearing. in fact we purchased this as a replacement to the last sleeve that tore.

The silicon sleeve did not fit my remote, but I was still able to use the motion plus part. I don't know what to do with the sleeve.

Wow, what a piece of junk though. Not at all like the silicon black one I purchased. This one is almost construction paper thin, and has a latex or vinyl feel to it. Does not feel like it can absorb any shocks or drops, but will protect from scratches (at best). I am going to purchase a new one online, sad that I wasted my time on this one.

looks good on the controller and helps with grip but all in all not really needed.
Made the mistake of ordering these thinking that I was ordering two motion sensors instead.
Oh well. Glad they were available a relatively good price
