Best Potholders Ever,
By
This review is from: SiliconeZone Grid Potholder, Black (Kitchen)
I know it seems crazy to even be reviewing a potholder, but these things are great! Unlike most other silicone potholders, this is very pliable, and easily wraps around whatever item you are carrying. In a pinch, it also makes an excellent trivet.

This is a great product and you will never buy another cloth potholder!
It's flexible and large enough that you won't burn your hand. I would highly recommend this product.

Horrid, dangerous and an accident waiting to happen!,

Not sure how much time the previous reviewer gave these but we've been using them now for over 6months. Simply put:
- these are NOT pot holders, they are suited just fine as a trivet. The design (kind of a hollow grid) that makes them so wonderfully pliable is exactly what makes them horrible pot holders. There simply isn't enough thickness to provide any protection. - They are falling apart already, again, because the silicone is so dangerously thin. Don;t waste your money.

I actually placed this in front of my coffee maker to catch the drips. Looks like it was meant for that and does a good job of catching all the spills.

Some heat does tend to go through the silicone after a while. This is not a potholder that you can stand there indefinitely with. However, the grip is great - not slippery like many fabric pot holders, and you can rinse it or wipe it clean quickly.

I have used many different pot holders made of a variety of materials and this one is the best! The grid helps to keep a firm hold so the hot item doesn't sleep and the silicone keeps your hand from getting warm. Also, since it is dishwasher safe cleaning it is a breeze!
