Yes, it works reasonably well--especially if you spray it with Pam--but this particular design isn't a winner, at least not for pancakes. In my experience, it's been more trouble than it's worth. This is one of those things that has ended up being left in the drawer more than it's been used.

Silicone Zone makes many excellent products. This isn't one of them.
