This pillowcase is very thin compared with the very old one that I have. But it is very silky and helps my hair look better in the mornings.

This pillowcase feels great to sleep on. I did not find it to be thin - especially compared to the Dreamsack travel silk pillowcase I had purchased prior. This is much thicker and nicer feeling. The color of the picture online is a little off - I was expecting a pinkish color, but it's more of a peach.

I misunderstood and thought that I was purchasing two pillowcases for the money. It was a little too expensive for just one. The pillow case is nice and seems to be of pretty good quality.

Like all decent quality silk bedding, these pillowcases feel very nice and are wonderful to sleep on. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, these are relatively quite lightweight when compared to other silk bedding. Most suppliers list the momme weight of the material (denoted as M/M)-- the higher it is, the thicker, more durable and luxurious the silk. Empress doesn't list the momme weight used, which leads me to believe it is not very high. After less than a year of use, these pillowcases are tearing down the seams. (It's important to note that I currently have 3 sets of bedding that I rotate between, so they each only get washed about once a month.) The sheets I've bought from Empress are also starting to rip, but not the sheets I've purchased from other suppliers. Think ahead, but higher quality sheets and pillowcases.

My wife read that silk pillow cases allow one to sleep without disturbing one's makeup or one's hair. Well, these worked like a charm. In addition to those two assets, these pillow cases are also soft, silky and allow for a great night's sleep. I still use cotton, but my wife is elated with silk.

I have very sensitive skin so I love the way this feels on my face.

This pillowcase is only a bit better than a cotton one in that it doesn't totally eliminate "bed hair." Can't evaluate facial wrinkle improvement because I already have too many of them...

This is a lovely soft pillowcase. It also launders very well. I will buy it again when needed.

Pretty and seductive. They are thinner than some, but they seem well put together. I'm getting another pair.

Not true. The case is silk, but very thin. I don't know about the claims of fewer wrinkles and no bed head...still get bed head. Go figure.
