Returning to the Soul sound that had brought her to fame during the early part of the '60s, 'Silk & Soul' was as commercial as Nina got for RCA. The album spawned many popular classics including her rendition of Bacharach/David's 'The Look of Love' & one of her best known songs, 'I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free'. Remastered reissue of 1967 album on BMG. 2004. --This text refers to an alternate Audio CD edition.
