This saw is the best there is.,

I volunteer as a section maintainer on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina and use this saw to clear fallen trees. It makes short work of even dead and dry trees and has exceeded my expectaions in every way. It is light weight and tough as nails. I would recommend the Ibuki to anyone who is looking for a high quality, high performance pruning saw.

This review is from: Silky Curved Landscaping Hand Saw IBUKI 390 Extra Large Teeth 275-39 (Lawn & Patio)
This saw isn't exactly a chainsaw, but it is fast. It seems to be best for branches up to 4 or 5 inches. The grip is comfortable and the holster is handy and well built. The only improvement I can think of is that the blade could be a little longer. Otherwise it's the best pruning saw you're likely to find.

This is the best saw ever. With very little effort i am able to take down a tree with a 4 inch diameter.I would buy this product again. Keep it in the safty sheath as the teeth are super sharp.

Performs as Expected,

The saw is well built and cuts very well. I have an acre of wood and use it everywhere. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that for the price, I was expecting it to do something magic. No magic here, just a good, albeit expensive, saw.

A Samurai Sword of Pruning Saws,

This review is from: Silky Curved Landscaping Hand Saw IBUKI 390 Extra Large Teeth 275-39 (Lawn & Patio)
I have tried many saws in my work as a volunteer trail maintainer for state parks. The bow saws and the cheaper pruning saws bind when they cut. My favorite pruning saw is the Silky Curved Landscaping Hand Saw IBUKI 390, which is expensive, but worth every penny. The Silky is lightweight to carry with a comfortable handle and a strong blade that zips through everything I asked it to cut, even trees that were 12 inches in diameter. With the price of this blade, I'm going to stick to smaller branches, and call out someone with a chainsaw for the larger trees, but the point is that it CAN cut through something that thick. I got probably 100 hours or more of service before the blade lost its edge. When that wore down, I had it sharpened, but the sharpening did not last for long, so I bought a new blade.

I am very pleased with this purchase, the cutter works fine with branches up to 25 cm diameter and the final cut is smooth saving the tree, no strenght is necessary when working, just pulling and the blade works easily with a thin cutting.

Not often a product exceeds its recommendation. This one does. Bit pricy, but worth it.
