The flat sheet is only satin on one side, the other side just has that totally unfinished inside-out look and is rough and scratchy, impossible to sleep comfortably with.

I like the satin side though. It's silky and shiny (but not overly so) and nice looking. But it was weird because for the flat sheet I had to put the satin side down so that that was what I'd feel and that that was what would show when I turned the bed down. The other side is just not presentable.

Also, be aware, it's 100% polyester, satin is the term used for how it's stitched. I knew this going in, as I like the feel of polyester satin.

I got these in black and silver and I'm going to keep them because of the good price, but I wouldn't have bought these if I'd known about the one-sided issue.

Ok, so maybe I didn't read the description thoroughly enough, but I've had satin sheets before, and these are definitely not satin. More like a cheap polyester. There's a reason they're being sold at this price. I also ordered the queen size for my, you guessed it, queen size bed. But there's no way the fitted sheet will ever be tight on this bed. I hate to imagine what these would look like after a trip through the wash. Will return.

I bought these for my wife for our anniversary, and I have to say this is the worst purchase I have ever made on amazon. We washed the sheets once and they have fallen apart at the seams on both the actual mattress cover and the pillow cases. They basically ripped apart once we put them back on the bed and pillows. There was no rough usage, in fact we never even slept on them, she opened the package and washed them, and we put them on the bed. The next day my wife asked me what happened to her pillowcase, and I noticed the whole corner had basically ripped part. Then I inspected the rest of the set and saw that 2 corners of the mattress cover had done the exact same thing. We have disposed of the sheet set and went to a local store for a replacement.

I bought two sets. Within the first week, one pillow case tore. I had it restitched professionally. By the end of the 2nd month, all 4 pillow cases and both fitted sheets had shredded at the seams. The fabric is too weak to hold a stitch. Go buy something else.

Feels sexy even if its just you. You will feel sexy with this on your bed. Its delicate and classy. Simple but elegant. The luster creates just enough glamor. I would wash them seperatly and low dry as well.

I gave these sheets a 3 mainly because of my own preference. The sheets are nice satin sheets; but satin sheets aren't for me. The comforter/bedspread doesn't stay on and the sheets are always loose and wrinkly. :(

These sheets and pillow cases are terrible! i have had them on my bed for 2 weeks now and both pillow cases have completely fallen apart. terrible product and a huge waste of money.

I bought these sheets thinking they might be satin but they're definitely 100% polyester and cheap polyester at that. I slept on them for 2 days and the seams started coming undone. I bought the queen size sheets and they are way to big for the bed. I learned my lesson for being cheap

The flat sheet I liked. The fitted sheet ripped in the bottom corner after a month of usage. But for cheap sheets you get what you pay for. Better then the average. :)
