Good book talking about facts, personalties, health issues, discipline, etc of the Silky Terrier. Also contains many pictures.
Advice: good to have before you get your Silky !

WOW! This book is great! Lots of great information on the Silky Breed. We breed our Silky Terrier once a year and This is one of the two Silky Terrier Books that we give to all our New silky Terrier Families.
These dogs are wonderful dogs, not yappy and they have a soft silky coat of HAIR, not fur. If you have alergies this is a great breed of dog. Wife has alergies and we got 3!! Some of our friends have yorkies and after we got our silkies they wished they had found the silky breed first.
I like to call them "A Mans Yorkie"! They are twice the size of a yorkshire terrier, they don't have wirey hair, they are stronger which makes them less suseptible to the medical problems yorkies have. A Silky is an Austrailian Terrier and a Yorkshire Terrier Mix. The breed name came from the LONG, Silky Soft hair the breed has.
Beautiful, wonderful, loving, devoted, loyal, great watch dogs, not yappy!
If you are looking for a toy breed, I think everyone should at least check out this breed before you buy a puppy.
