Biography

The 90s wouldn't have been the 90s without the crazy-sexy-cool members of TLC. If the words "divas need not apply" made it onto recruitment materials when the act formed in Atlanta in 1991, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes never noticed: her scrapes with the law. When T-Boz, Chilli, and Left Eye managed to make it into the studio, some seriously satisfying R&B materialized; the drama never stopped the world… Read more in Amazon's TLC Store

TLC'S CRAZY, SEXY, COOL SONG "SILLY HO" IS ONE OF THEIR BEST SONGS TO DATE! IT IS LIKE "NO SCRUBS," BUT BETTER. ITS ERBAN BEATS AND TECHNO SOUND MIXED WITH LADY T'S HOT...VOICE MAKE THE PERFECT PARTY JAM! TLC IS THE BEST GIRL GROUP IN THE UNIVERSE AND THIS SONG SHOWS US WHY!

4.0 out of 5 stars Virtual Vic-E, September 15, 2006

I take offense to people who say Silly H/o sounds like a Timbaland ripoff. It does not.

This was the teaser release to help usher in tlc's third album, Fanmail. You heard it on the radio but there was never a video.

I don't like Silly H/o as much as I once did. The song is supercool but I'm kind of tired of the whole h\o thing. We have enough stupid a/ss men condemning women with that word. We don't need to condemn each other as well. Sure, there are ho/es, but the whole thing is played out, not to mention it's such a subjective term.

There's a robotic voice on the track called Virtual Vic-E. If you ask me, it sounds like Chilli; but who knows. I really love her part. Especially these four lines:

...stuck on silly s/hi/t
boy you know you need to quit,
ain't the one for all this.
You missed out.
