The book is great, the children like the" I can read " feature.
The Silly Tilly collection is great fun and good reading for beginners.

This is an I CAN READ book, Level 1, so a child in first grade can probably read it herself. It makes a great Easter gift. Our kids loved getting this book.

Silly Tilly and the Easter Bunny: An Early I Can Read Book,

This review is from: Silly Tilly and the Easter Bunny: An Early I Can Read Book (Hardcover)
ISBN 0060223936 - Printed in the United States of America. Age range not stated. Pictorial hardcover, no dustjacket. 31 pages, published by Weekly Reader Books/Field Publications. Written and illustrated by Lillian Hoban.
Silly Tilly Mole wakes to the smell of jelly beans and remembers that it's Easter morning. She hears a THUMP at her door and, assuming it's the Easter bunny with her basket, plans to go open the door and offer him tea. The number of things that she "forgets to remember" along the way almost keep her from her Easter goodies, but it all works out in the end. First, for the Christian-message folks - nope, none of that here. For those who enjoy a good, funny, kids' tale as a chance to introduce your child to reading, this is awesome. The text is simple and there's enough repetition so that beginning readers will be able to pick up on that. The illustrations are perfect watercolor complements that add to the hilarity as Tilly bumbles her way through her Easter morning. - AnnaLovesBooks

Silly Tilly and the Easter Bunny (An Early I Can Read Book) is a good book for my 5 year old Grandson's Easter basket. He is enjoying it very much. I was happy with the way it was shipped as it arrived in very good shape.

The closest SILLY TILLY gets to perfection,

From the name, this masterpiece of poetic songs may seem childish. What a deception! I may be a bit old for kiddy books, (I'm 47), but I cried the first time I read this book. I was so shocked when it went out of print. I am organizing a strike against those naughty publishers. SILLY TILLY live forever!
