A WONDERFUL BOOK,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Silly Tilly (Hardcover)
Silly Tilly is one of those rare finds in a book. Instead of reading this book, I made up a tune and sing the story and the children in my classroom love the book! Silly Tilly is a MUST have in preschool class, or a K-3 classroom where this book will become an instant favorite!

This review is from: Silly Tilly (Hardcover)
This is one of the best children's books I have ever read. It has a great story line "be yourself." It also is a great book to read to preschool aged children or pre-readers because it rhymes and since rhyming is a precursor to reading, it's prefect!

Silly Tilly is a great book and my 4-year old really does enjoy it. She loves the story and the drawings that go along with it are excellent. The story itself is sweet, and I'm looking forward to finding more books from this author to read to my daughter!

Silly Tilly is silly!,
By Tammy (Salt Lake City, UT) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Silly Tilly (Hardcover)
This is a silly rhyming book.
"Tilly is not an ordinary goose. She takes her bath in apple juice. She wears a pancake as a hat. She tries to ride the farmer's cat. She kissed a fish. Imagine that." When her barnyard friends tell her she's too silly she turns into a sad goose. Her friends miss the old Tilly and talk about how they haven't laughed since she stopped being so silly. The horse apologizes to Tilly and Tilly turns back into her silly self.

Tells of a quirky goose who takes her baths in apple juice and wears a pancake hat,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Silly Tilly (Hardcover)
Ellen Spinelli's SILLY TILLY tells of a quirky goose who takes her baths in apple juice and wears a pancake hat. Is she too silly or having too much fun? David Slonim's drawings are zany, fun accompaniments. An excellent addition to any picturebook collection.

Our five-year-old granddaughter loves this story!
She has had it read to her so often that she can now "read" the entire book herself, word for word! |
