They click and grip and slip just right!

These might be good for a beginner, because the chance of the yarn sliding off is pretty slim.

I love the colors, they're very well made.

These are nice needles. The only thing, some types of yarn (for example: LionBrand Home Spun) kind of "sticks" to the needles. Not really a problem, but kind of annoying. These might be good for a beginner, because the chance of the yarn sliding off is pretty slim.

I was actually looking for acrylic knitting needles when I accidentally purchased these instead. It didn't seem worth returning them so I decided to add them to the collection. I was suprised to see that some of the color was worn away in spots when I took the needles out of the pack, never had that happen before. I've been knitting with the blue size 8 needles for about a week now a few hours at a time and come away, ever single time, with blue hands. Not a happy kniter with blue hands let me tell you.
To add to the disappointment the needles are also heavier then my cheep Walmart brand needles that are actually longer in length. Having hand issues the lighter the better for me because even the smallest bit of weight will wear on my hands after a bit. I can honestly say I would not order these again.

I LOVE this set!! I'm still learning to knit and also bought a bamboo needle, but can't decide which one I prefer. This is a slick needle, but I've had no problems at all learning my stitches with them. I love the colors, they're very well made. No complaints at all!!

These kniting needles are very nice they last a long time and are very nice with whatever fabric is chosen.... Esthetic wise they do tend to scratch..so of you like perfect needles go with bamboo or something else. But I find these waayy easier to work with than bamboo <3

Since I am just beginning to learn how to knit, I felt that I should have both types to see which one works best for me. This set is a start!

these are good quality. The metal needles work great and I don't have to fear them breaking like the plastic ones do. I am very pleased with them.

I've to use there when knitting, I would advise beginners to go with the plastic version as these are slippery.
