Of all of the Billie Holiday cds I have heard, this one is by far the best! The recording is very clear. It sounds as if this was the master recording. The songs are an absolute delight! My personal favorites are: "Gee Baby Aint I Good To You", "Our Love Is Hear To Stay", "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off", okay you got me; I Like the entire cd. Well worth buying. It truly is a treasure. This is a something you won't regret buying!

As someone who has not been exposed to a great deal of jazz, this is an "easy" way to break the ice. The songs are familiar, and her rendering of them is perfect. Great to mellow the soul without putting it to sleep...

Of all of the Billie Holiday cds and vinyl albums I own(about eight),this is my favorite recording of hers. It's very soulful and the recording quality is amazingly good. You can't lose by buying this cd if you like Holiday.

This is my favorite Billie Holiday album. Starting with the cool, "I Wished On The Moon" and hitting a sultry, smooth, inimitable high note with "Comes Love."
