The Silver Crown,
By James (Washington) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Silver Crown (World of Darkness) (Paperback)
The novel itself seems a bit strange in it's writing style; the writing is very personal. Aside from the sometimes lack of understanding of situations, and the few times you cannot imagine a scene taking place, this book does what it sets out to do: Rage. Werewolf lore, Garou society, and the legacy of the Werebeast are strong in this book. Fight scenes are great, and the writer obviously knew his World of Darkness. I give this book a positive reveiw, and if your into Werewolf, it is a MUST have for your library.

Cool!!,

This review is from: Silver Crown (World of Darkness) (Paperback)
This story is for those who want to learn more about the leader of The Royal Pack--Jonas Albrecht. This is a story about his quest for the long forgotten relic, The Silver Crown, which will either ensure his claim to the throne as King of all Garou, or his death.

Great to know how Albrecht came to have his crown,
This review is from: Silver Crown (World of Darkness) (Paperback)
I'm a huge rol fan, and I like WEREWOLF quite a bit. Albrecht is one of my favorites characters, so I had to read how it was that he came by his crown. The book is good, I really enjoyed reading it, and it's good time spent. But I confess I prefer the tribe novels, because the characters have like... I don't know... more consistency, and the Albrecht, Mary and Evan you find in the tribe novels is a more evolved pack, something you don't feel as strongly on this book.
But anyway, it was a joyful read... even when I doubt that "joyful" would be the right word for it... XDDD
