I thought this book was less thrilling than the "Crystal Cat." The books' charcters were wonderful, as to be expected from Velda Johnston, but this novel lacked suspense and romance as it had promised. Definitely a book for the cozy readers.

I read this book in one day as I couldn't put it down. I had an inkling as to who did the murder, but Ms Johnston was very good at leading you away from what should have been obvious. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a romantic mystery. Very well written. Athough I read the paperback version.
