I read this to my two daughters - age 8 and 4 - one rainy afternoon, and the wouldn't let me stop until we were done. Beautifully written book by an author who was written terrific books for adults as well. I assume that the book didn't do too well, since the author never wrote another kids book, but this rare book is well-worth searching out.
