It has been four years since "Two" was released, and 6 years since "letting go". This album falls back onto the "Letting Go" sound. The hard rock and great melodies are still there, but the overall mixing is more polished, with the vocals intertwined more with the music again. Highlight songs for me are Pushing to Shove, Go and Closer. This album caught me by surprise when it came out, and I only stumbled on it because it was displayed with the new releases. Something was watching out for me. If you are a fan, you need to get this album!!

I bought this CD the day it came out. I haven't stopped listening to it yet. I think this is the Best Earshot CD so far!! You won't be disappointed.

In this album earshot evolves their sound even more, the lyrics are just as catchy as in their previous albums, tho the sound gets allot more noisy, and at times is hard to listen to.

Why isn't this band getting more attention? I hate it when bands produce really good music and don't get the respect they deserve. This is 100 times better than any of the new band crap they constantly play on the radio today.

Another great CD by an amazing band - I only wish I could find the lyrics somewhere! I look forward to Earshot's next endeavor!

I bought it months ago and still listening to it...
"Go" and "Closer" are my favorites.. The band song's writing has changed a little bit but the Earshot trade mark still there, hard rock/ alternative metal with the great excellent vocals of Martin.. Earshot acomplish with this record another "back, to back, to back" excellent album.

I bought this cd about a couple weeks ago, and to me the songs sound about the same from their previous cd's. They're decent and all, with a few standout tracks like missunderstood and more than I ever wanted. If you had to listen to just 1 song on this cd, I'd highly recommend More than I ever wanted, it's such an adrenaline-pumping song.

Interestingly, I am listening to Earshot "Not Afraid" on Squizz as I write this, but just received and listed to this great new CD. If you like Earshot, you will like this release. What a great band, I hope they tour in the Northeast this year, they should, there are not many bands this good IMHO, but I do love the likes of Disturbed, Ministry, Linkin Park, Sevendust, Mudvayne, and similar great bands. This is a great work of art, and I say this completely unbiased, nothing to gain or lose.

This album is amazing and is the best Earshot album up to date. It is their first release in four years, The Silver Lining is the follow up to "Two" which I thought was also an amazing album. The Silver Lining is everything an Earshot fan can expect...EXCELLENT HARD ROCK MUSIC! The stand-out tracks for me are: Missunderstood, Closer, More Than I Ever Wanted and Go. The average Earshot fan will enjoy the entire album as much as I do. I PROMISE YOU! It is worth it. BUY THIS ALBUM!
