I love Jenny Lewis's voice!!! I think this band is AWESOME! Of all their alblum's UNDER THE BLACKLIGHT is my favorite. I can only wonder though "Why are they not very well known"?

It seems Jenny Lewis and Rilo Kiley really came into their own with "Under The Blacklight," which comes as no surprise, since Lewis has always been bubbling over with talent. "Silver Lining" is the single off the album, and it comes equipped with some sunny fun, and a beat to match. I personally think the style could be used in an out-of-place cover of "Amazing Grace," but hey, I'm weird in that way.

The verses don't always fit, but the chorus is incredibly pleasant, and it naturally spreads throughout the song. The quietly effective guitar work also propels the song. So check it out if you're looking for sunny tracks, a song for a Hawaiian party, or a beach party, the song seems to work in all locals. I'm also told it was featured in an episode of either "Private Practice," or "Women's Murder Club." Either way, I wouldn't want my song in a soon-to-be cancelled/cancelled TV show.
