Book Description

The inhabitants of the sleepy little town called Gladys could rest at night. Wake up in the morning and go to their jobs, living their lives as normal. The police would report another animal attack and look for some wild creature capable of doing such a terrible thing.
Over time the truth will fade and turn into myths. No one would ever believe a werewolf existed. It's just a myth-right?

5.0 out of 5 stars Short but chock full of excitement October 2, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Ms. Mitchell wrote this short story as part of an anthology, but it stands well on it's own. She manages to pack suspense, down and dirty fighting and love in a quick read. I enjoy Ms. Mitchell's writing and once again wasn't disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Short Story August 27, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition
A submission was applied for, by author and publisher Tracey Mitchell , for a member of our ReviewTeam to read and review her short story in the wonderful new Anthology , The Undead Nation. Fourteen authors joined together to add stories to this book and with the help of Zylon Publishings and author Calvin A Miller , to take all of the proceeds and donate it to Breast Cancer Research. It was my pleasure to accommodate this request.

Ms Mitchell's style as always paints a perfect picture in your mind as soon as she puts pen to paper. Jennifer Collins, returning home from work late one evening, comes upon and elderly gentleman walking down this quiet country road, with a gas can in his hand.
Our heroine, stops to give the man a ride to the local gas station. While driving there, their conversation turns to the foul play that has occurred in the area...Are you feeling the suspense building.?

Jennifer, hears that people have been terrorized , mutilated and killed on these roads and she disbelieves the old mans talk of wolves and other un earthly characters like werewolves...Since I do not believe in spoilers, I will conclude this review with : the story is a great short read and Ms Mitchell has it out on Kindle for your reading pleasure..
Would have loved it longer....

4.0 out of 5 stars Recommend to fans of Urban Fantasy and Horror July 19, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Silver Moon is a short story about a woman named Jennifer. After working late one night, she wants nothing more than a night of soaking in the tub. But the night has other plans for her. On her way home, she passes by a broken down truck and decides to help an old man walking along the road towards the gas station. While driving to the station, the man tells her about reports of animal attacks that have recently been reported along the road they are traveling. After discovering what the man believes is behind the attacks, she gets a closer look than she believed possible.

Silver Moon is full of suspense, action and a small pinch of love interest. Although the story could be considered urban fantasy, it also had a horror feel to it. I really enjoyed this short story but would have liked for it to be longer even though it was not necessary. I guess I just did not want the story to end. Overall, it was a nice quick read with a neat ending.

Silver Moon is an imaginative short story by one of my favorite author's T.L. Mitchell. Ms. Mitchell brings the pages alive in this short, but entertaining short story.
