Gold and Silver Test Needles. This is a new set of testing needles. These needles are for testing 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K gold and silver. These are used to determine karat content of gold and silver. The needles and the item to be tested are rubbed on a test stone and treated with acid to determine a match.

It took forever to receive however it works very well and is definately a fresh batch. I have never used needles before but decided to try them as sometimes there is a question about a piece and they could help with a second opinion.
