This latest installment by The Infamous Stringdusters, Silver Sky, is a great collection of works by this band of dynamic musicians. It's got plenty of the great traditional fun you'd come to expect from the fellows and delivers some sweet musical surprises, too. It kicks off with a real treat to tap your toes to with Don't Mean Nothin' and then quickly shifts gears into Rockets - a track reminiscent of the late John Denver. The Hitcher is already a classic having blazed it's way onto We'll Do It Live and Night On The River transports you to your favorite hollow. The blending of sounds and rhythms on Fire and Walkin' On The Moon -- a cover of the classic by The Police -- just delivers a well-rounded finish to this album. There is not a weak song on the album making Silver Sky truly GOLDEN! Well done gentlemen . . . can't wait to see you live at this year's Festy Experience!

This is one of the greatest bands around. All members are incredibly talented musicians and I highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of bluegrass or jam grass music.

I had heard the first single.release (alongside my.husband) and recognized immediately that The Infamous Stringdusters are virtuosos. My husband and I exchanged Whoa! looks....and went to.Amazon and ordered the blue sky dvd. My husband is a.virtuoso on guitar (he would never say that, he's too humble) and he has heard some of the greats, so his praise comes from wisdom. These guys are a pure perfection to listen to. It doesn't.get any better than this.
