One of the best cookbooks in my collection (of many). Recipes are from 100 different towns in the south where the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries has Chapters...thus a great assortment of recipes I had not heard of before. The book is beautiful and also contains a history of this wonderful service organization that has helped so many people, especially children, through the many service projects of its Chapters.

I highly recommend this book for a gift. Perfect for weddings, birthdays, Christmas or so much more. This book is full of good and easy recipes that are simple for the beginning cook or there are some even some recipes that would impress any one coming to dinner. I love all the breakfast casseroles and have made many that even my picky kids LOVE. I have bought a ton of these books and everyone that has received one of them has told me that it has quickly become one of their staple cookbooks that you can always find something good in.

I have a cookbook collection, but cherish this book because of two awesome recipes. Hodge Podge is my new favorite cold weather soup and the Grape Salad recipe is my standard take-along when a dish is required of me. The recipes are tried and true, as they come from 100 communities across the South. Worth every penny and makes a beautiful gift as well. I can't recommend it highly enough!

This a great cookbook with an amazing collection of tried and true Southern favorites that range from casual to more formal selections. The book is peppered with stories from Junior Auxiliary chapters and past members about the amazing things that they have done to help families and children in need within their communities. The stories will bring a smile to your face, warm your heart, and some can bring a tear to your eye. This is a must-have cookbook and makes excellent hostess gifts. Buy one for yourself and a few extras for your friends and neighbors!
