I read the dimensions of this case before I bought it, and was still stunned to see how big it was! Not a bad thing, just surprising. The internal layout of this case is simple and good; had no issues with routing and set up. The external presentation of the case is sublime; just a good looking, unassuming, tasteful case for my media shelf. The blue led light burned a hole right through my hallway wall to the kitchen, and melted some dishes on the otherside... kk not really but dang that light is bright!

Great Case. The only reason I gave it a four was because of the annoying HD light.Pros: - Two 5 inch slots in the front were huge for me. Difficult to find two on top of each other on a HTPC case. - Plenty of room to work and fits everything I needed and then some. Cons: - HD access light is blue and very obtrusive for a HTPC. Disconnected light and all is good.

Picked this up for a build for my wife. Took a really long time to pull the trigger. I went back and forth on whether or not to go even smaller, with an ITX only case. Very pleased I went with this. The build was smooth with no snags. The case is small, but not difficult to work with. I had a spare modular power supply (strongly suggest something modular) and it fit just fine. A standard psu size was one of the big selling points for me, along with being able to use a standard dvd drive. I also like the motherboard sitting flat on the case floor. I really recommend picking up 2 80mm fans for ventilation out the top (I splurged and picked up 2 Noctuas) . I am still debating on whether to get more clever with additional fans or not. It is surprisingly quiet considering open ventilation on both sides. In fact, the only truly noticeable noise comes from the 8800 GT (single slot card) when the fan goes nuts during games. For what it is worth, here are the components for the pc which has been running smoothly for about a month now: -mATX P55M-UD2 Gigabyte 1156 motherboard -Core i5 750 Intel cpu -MSI 8800 GT -Thermaltake 700w modular psu -dvd drive (think it is an LG) -640 GB Western Digital HD

The Silverstone Sugo is one of the best SFF boxes I have used. The room inside allows for all of the components I use, and then some. Cooling is no problem using just the power supply fan unless you are building a power gaming system. Other fan options are available to the builder for three or four more fans. This box is no light weight, so if mobility is in mind you may not like what you get when you are done with the build. It is a little too large as a media box for your living room and the blue lights are a little too bright if it sets by your TV, unless you make modifications to dimm them down. It does look good though, where ever you use it.

I bought this case to re-case a quad-core i3 full tower system that I bought recently, after realizing that I really hate having my CPU under my desk. This was really the only thing I could find that fit in the space where I wanted to put it and wouldn't stick up over the top of my (low) cube wall. So the form factor was obviously a plus for me. Amazon got it here in good order and with free shipping it was a few bucks cheaper than the next best delivered price I found. It's actually not such a small case though. If you shaved two or three inches off the depth , the form factor would be a bigger plus. It's extensively perforated and breathes well. The downside is you hear a lot of fan noise when it's on your desk and you put the pedal to the metal on the CPU. If you like your PCs quiet, a CPU cooler upgrade may be in your future. But you could throw a few LEDs in and it should glow nicely, if you're into that. I've been building my own computers for 20 years but this was my very first Silverstone case. I have to say it kind of left my wondering what all the hype is about. In terms of materials, you would not call it flimsy but it's certainly not a tank. Fit and finish were good, but not significant better than some sub-$50 cases I've bought. Noticeable lack of thoughtful details like stamped in cable stays or thumb screws. It did come with plenty of screws though, and they threw in a couple of peel and stick cable holders. Styling is understated to the point of being a little plain, but that suits me fine. Piano black finish on the bezel shows fingerprints and you don't see many optical drives that match. In terms of the build experience, I'll bet they thought their internal drive mounting solution was more clever than I did -- that by the way, is necessitated by the fact that the front bezel is not removable. Mobo and PSU went in painlessly but expansion cards screw into a little shelf that sticks out the back, where clearances were were tight enough to make installing my video card a pain. A cover that fits over that clips in on one side and shares screws with a combo case struts and fan mount, making reinstalling it a three-handed operation. The cooling fan for the drive bay was surprisingly noisy but I put in on a 5 volt line from the power supply, and I think it's fine. None of these things really rose above the level mere annoyance. The system went together fairly smoothly all in all. I didn't have to mod anything or break out a file or nibbling tool at any point. Overall I'd say I'm generally pleased but not bowled over by the product.

Used this case when I rebuilt my wife's computer...held an mATX mobo with Core2Duo chip, graphics card and all the trimmings easily.Dropped one star because it is a bit finicky to get the lid back on. Otherwise great fit and finish. This is the second one of these I have purchased.

My old Shuttle shoebox PC was becoming unreliable and the MB is a proprietary footprint so I was interested in a more generic/universal replacement. This was it. Standard ATX MB in the same form factor as the shuttle but larger. Large enough to avoid some of the shuttle cooling issues I was having. The Expansion ports have a strange mounting style. A small rectangular bracket that extends farther than the rest of the chassis and has a strange cover plate. Like a small tumor. It did not cause me any issues but I never had a system where the PCI mounting screws for the expansion slots stuck out farther than the rear of the case. Also, the glossy black paint job looks nice and the very bright blue LED can be hidden behind the small door on the front panel.SK

This is about as big a case as you can get and still call it Small Form Factor. Luckily, it makes it large enough to hold a decent graphics card and CPU cooler. Everything assembles and disassembles fairly easily, though after installing a few fans and a couple of SATA devices, the wires start to take over and cramp the innards a bit. I'd strongly recommend a decent modular Power Supply for this case since being able to remove some of the wiring is a big help to maintaining some air and finger space inside the case. Additionally, the stock case fan is terrible. Though it quieted down after a while, its cheap and sounded like a chainsaw the first time I turned on the case. Get three decent 80mm case fans (replacing the stock fan and using the two other fan mounts in the top and top/rear of the case) and make sure you have good airflow.Overall i really like this case. Its a good looking design, fits well on a shelf on my entertainment console, and large enough to house multiple drives and a full sized graphics adapter. I'd definitely consider another of these cases for my next build.
