The case is tall enough for nearly any aftermarket cooler.

I cannot use all four ram slots because the last two slots do not clear the right hard drive cage.

Pros: Construction Quality, Finish
Cons: Construction Difficulty, old tech.
I am about a month into owning this and am just beginning to enjoy it. The material quality is very good and it will be at home with most upper mid range components - the fit and finish is that nice. The function and volume knobs work well and it looks like a large pre-amplifier, not a computer. Well supplied with standoffs and screws. One of the reasons I bought such a large HTPC case was to have lots of room to maneuver and this case does not always work out that way. I am using an ASUS P8-PZ68V Pro full atx motherboard. I cannot use all four ram slots because the last two slots do not clear the right hard drive cage. There is room for a decent sized video card, but I am not sure I will need one with the native video capability of the I-5 2500K I put in here. There is room for a real cooler - I am using a new Intel one designed for the 1155 (not the stock cooler). I swapped out the included card reader for a SOHOUSB with a front USB 3.0 port.
My main beef is with the hard drive cages. Removing them means lots of screws and also loosening the allen screws that anchor them to the sides of the case. You need to remove the cages to put the 92mm hard drive fans in - these are not supplied and should be. Also, the optical drive is supported by the hard drive cages so removing/replacing/adding a hard drive will probably require removing the optical drive and partial dis-assembly of the whole build.
On the plus side, the included remote seems to work pretty well and the display scrolls the news once you connect to the Internet and load the software.
I can't think of a better case having shopped around for two months, read countless reviews and watched too many You Tube videos. I just think this one needs some updating to the hard drive cages, optical drive mount and card reader.

I have built dozens of HTPCs over the years. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of using this case in a build. Out of all the prefab HTPC cases, this is the only one I have run across that would be worthy to be used in my own system. Everything is remarkably thick and is built heavy duty. The case is tall enough for nearly any aftermarket cooler. Be forewarned that extra long video cards and power supplies may not fit so measure accordantly.

This is my 3rd case from Silverstone as always they do great job. Material and workmanship great. For people that want space and have larger video cards this case is for you. I have 2 ATI HD4870 and works perfect for this setup, this the one reason why I wanted this type of case in the first place.Has great storage for 6 hard drives but only one setup for a dvd drive. They also offer the imon software from soundgraph which at this time needs more work to it. The software is very limted and does not do all the function regards to the front of the display. Maybe in time they will have better updates to solve those issues. But besides that this case is great.

This was a compromise compared with my original choice for building my HTPC and after initially ordering it, was worried that I may have made a mistake. Those fears were quickly dispelled though, after receiving it. This case has a fantastic design for building an HTPC for a medium-large sized entertainment system. It affords plenty of space for multiple hard-drives, PCI cards, as well as a single PCI-E card. This was my first build, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice in cases. Its solid with plenty of ventilation, and will support the use of any modern high-end components including liquid-cooled systems.
