I got this for less than forty bucks after rebate. The features that distinguish this PSU from other cheaper 400W ones are, active PFC, single 24A 12V rail and 80 PLUS operation. All power cables were of sufficient length (you can check cable length on silverstone webpage) and I had no problems connecting 1 HDD and a dual 6-pin plug single slot NVIDIA GTX 460 GPU. My power budget accounting went a little off when I was able to unlock my athlon ii x3 as a phenom ii x4 but this supply is still holding good. The rebate also came back within 2 weeks. Also I haven't heard the fan yet even when benchmarking. So overall pretty happy.

Update:
Supports Intel Haswell CPUs as per list on Silverstones webpage

Since I'm using a Silverstone ML03 case this is a perfect fit for a very limited space especially if using an optical drive. Also being a HTPC build noise is always a factor and the Strider is very quite. If it were modular it would be even better but no doubt more expensive the attached cabling works well both in attachments and lengths. The Strider is a bit pricey for 400W but seems well built and for my needs worth it. So if 400W will cut it for you and noise or tight quarters or both are a factor I can't see where you can go wrong going with this PS.

After I built my WHS I noticed I could hear fan noise coming from it. I only had fans on three sources: 1. cpu heatsink, 2. rear case fan, and 3. dual 80 mm fans on a TT power supply. Going on a recommendation about the consistent high quality of Silverstone power supplies from HardOCP, I purchased this one. This has more than enough power for my needs and is only audible upon close inspection.

I have only had this for a few weeks but it seems to run great. It fit great into the Silverstone case I bought.
Very quiet operation. I had to feel the air flow to make sure it was running.
Connectors were all fine and it came packaged well.

Silverstone make great products which work exactly how they claim. Very quiet and cool. I have used a few now in home theater PC builds which run 24/7.

Two years ago I built an i7-2600 based system for my wife. The power supply was a 550W Rosewill that I cannibalized out of the AM2/Phenom system it replaced. That Rosewill never delivered more than 400W from day one, but it worked fine for our needs. One day, the system started powering off suddenly without a crash dump or any warning. I got out my power supply tester, found that the Rosewill was having massive voltage fluctuations on the 12V rail (it was dipping as low as 8V!), and decided to pull it and replace it with something more trustworthy.

This PSU is working perfectly. It's quiet, it's small, and it provides a clean 420W of power. (If you look at the side label, it's actually rated for 420W). Unless you're running some super-rig, you probably don't need more power than what this thing provides. Plus, I trust the brand name.

420W will power: a Core i7-2600 (not K, not overclocked), 16GB of low-latency DDR3-1333, two 3TB hard disks, a flash SSD for a boot drive, and an nVidia GeForce 650ti. A little anemic for a gaming PC, some may think, but it still maxes out just about every game at 1680x1050.

Sweet little power supply, doesnt take up the space of a full ATX, its quiet and does what its supposed to do, very good paint job, feels sturdy, been running it almost 24/7 under pretty fair loads and cant think of a thing wrong with it.

Used in a CoolerMaster Elite 130 and it works really well, keeps the airflow going in the right direction and it's very quiet. Modular would have been nice, but modular is more expensive, and this was going into a cost-sensitive application. I won't deduct a star for a product not being a different product.

I have this paired with a Silverstone HTPC case. Works great and you can not even hear it. I dont feel much heat coming off it either, but I'm not sure how many watts I'm using in my system.

This power supply is super quiet, which is why I bought it, based on reviews. I am very pleased with this purchase.
